Rebecca Weeks was born in London in 1979.
She completed a BTEC Foundation in Art
and Design at Falmouth College of Arts
in 1998, a degree in Fine Art at The University
Of The West Of England in 2002 and an
M.A in Arts And Cultural Management at
Dartington College Of Arts in 2005.
Rebecca co founded artists group Artdept
in 2002, 'Artdept' have exhibited at the
Newlyn Orion gallery - ALIAS Platforrn,
2003, and at Live Art Falmouth, 2007 and
curated 'Ignition' Live Art/Digital show
at the Acorn Theatre Penzance, 2004.
Rebecca curated the
site specific show 'On The Prom' which
took place on the promenade in Penzance
in 2005.
Rebecca delivered a contextualising talk
for Misha Horaceks residency entitled
'Listening To Space' at the Chisenhale
Dance Centre in January 2007

Rebecca has also exhibited as part of 'Groupless'
artists group at - 'Something Like Spit', Trinity
Buoy Wharf, London, March 2007.
Rebecca has contributed articles to 'artcornwall',
'Curatorial Network' and 'Stimulus' magazine.
Her interests include Live Art, video, Artist
led projects, Artists networks,Site specificity,
intervention as an artist and curator, the unvalued,
the invisible, the formless, belonging, magic
and a critique of current cultural policy and
bureaucracy.
Rebecca currently lives and works as an artist,
curator and writer in Penzance.
